In the third quarter of 2024, the sandbox game category in Turkey saw intriguing trends across the top five apps on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation started the quarter strong with weekly revenues peaking at approximately $164K in early July. However, a significant decline followed, reaching around $15.7K by early September. Weekly downloads showed a similar pattern, beginning at 160K and dropping to 33K by quarter's end. Despite these declines, the app maintained robust engagement with active users starting at 7.4M and gradually decreasing to 6.5M by September.

Block Crazy Robo World Vip 3D from SimulationCraft Studios saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 122K in mid-August before tapering off to 45K by the end of the quarter. The active user base mirrored this trend, rising from 101K to a peak of 287K in early September, before settling at 245K.

Minecraft Trial by Mojang experienced steady weekly revenues, reaching around $40K in mid-August before a slight decline to $28K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar trajectory, with an early peak of 84K and a gradual decline to 49K. Active users also showed a gradual decrease from 698K to around 659K.

Block Craft 3D: Building Game from Wildlife Studios had a moderate revenue stream, fluctuating around $300 to $600 throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a notable surge to 89K in early August, later stabilizing around 44K. Active users peaked at 560K in early August, ending the quarter at approximately 408K.

Finally, Craft World - Building Craft exhibited an upward trend in downloads, peaking at 93K in mid-August before a sharp decline to 27K by the end of September. Active users increased from 217K to a high of 371K, before declining to 292K.
